"Another Wonderful Christmas with Friends at Camelot

Our third visit to Camelot and it felt like coming home again, we are very much looking forward to seeing everyone next year.

Our room was wonderful with such beautiful views and the food was out of this world what more could we ask for.

Looking forward to seeing you all again next Christmas."

"Camelot the magic lives on"
"A wonderful location with stunning scenery, our east wing studio was a wonderful room and was perfect for the romantic getaway I'd planned. We were made to feel very welcome by John & Ted who were very much in evidence along with all the staff who were courteous and helpful."
"Very relaxing enjoyable stay in a great location"
"Our stay, for a two days between Christmas and New Year was just the break we envisaged, a lovely hotel in a beautiful location on the coast path. Camelot is perched on the edge of the Tintagel cliffs overlooking Tintagel Island and castle with spectacular views out to sea, along the coast and inland. We were welcomed on arrival, given a guided tour followed by a complimentary glass of mulled wine - an excellent start.

Our room was just right, it had big windows with views over the sea and inland, a large comfy bed, the bathroom was small but perfectly formed and it would have been nice to be able to open the windows to hear the sea as well as see it. The hotel lounge was lovely, an enormous Christmas tree, castle sized open fires, comfy sofas, huge paintings and a harp being played in the background provided a very relaxing atmosphere.

Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were delicious. The staff were friendly, helpful and provided excellent service in every respect and it was good to see the owners who were very attentive chatting to guests and checking all was OK. For a relaxing value for money stay in a beautiful hotel, a fantastic location with very easy access to the coast path Camelot was definitely the right choice.

"Awesome"
"Me and my girlfriend spent 6 days in Cornwall, of which 3 nights were spent at Camelot Castle.
We were welcomed being informed that the owners, without even knowing us, decided to upgrade free of charge our room.
You can imagine we appreciated a lot this and were very eager to thank them.
Before dinner we met John and Irina (the owners) who very politely welcomed us to their hotel.
Meals were really very good, the accommodation perfect (newly refurbished with a huge bathroom) and the service flawless.

Atop of the above we both really enjoyed the time spent with artist Ted Stourton seeing his works which we also bought and listening to his story.

Finally at new years' eve, a fantastic firework display was performed in the light of the Atlantic ocean - really a fantastic experience."
"This is one of the most special locations I've ever been; a peaceful spot to recover from stress at the end of the world"
"We received the most warm welcome by mister Markus and while enjoying a drink of the house, the fires in the foyer were burning next to the huge Christmas tree on this cold December eve.

The rooms had a beautiful view over the misty ocean and the cave of Merlin.

Our food, served by the very kind hostess Julia, was perfect! I recommend you this beautiful spot at the end of the world if you look for a romantic honeymoon or a perfect place to recover from daily stress! We felt at Home in this castle."
